I'm happy to announce that you can now visit Line & Feather on Etsy!
At www.etsy.com/shop/lineandfeather you'll find archival quality reproductions of my pen and watercolor originals.
When you visit my shop, you'll notice that I'm starting small. There are just four 6" x 6" prints up for sale in my shop for a few reasons:
- I'm starting small because I wanted to do this right. I'm of the opinion that if you're going to do something, you might as well take the time to do it well. After researching fine-art reproduction, I decided on archival quality giclée printing. The prints you'll receive from my shop are nearly impossible to distinguish from the originals. They're of the highest quality, printed with archival, acid-free ink on heavyweight 100% cotton watercolor paper, and will last for over 100 years without fading.
- I'm starting small because this stuff takes time. Aside from this little endeavor, I'm a full time technical writer. I feel really blessed to have such an enjoyable creative outlet, and am always thinking about my next Line & Feather piece.
- I'm starting small because I'm new at this. Simply put, I'm a rookie, and that's the truth!
I want to try to express my gratitude towards those who have encouraged me to get to this point. It may seem like a small thing to open an Etsy shop, but it's actually been quite a process to figure out all the details of printing, packaging, shipping, and everything else involved in running a small creative from-home business. So, to everyone who's ever read my blog, left a comment here or on Instagram or Facebook, encouraged me to keep painting, or bought a piece when I was raising money for Alaska, THANK YOU. I really don't think I would have done any of this without your support and encouragement.
Thank you, sincerely.
